The tour-

Tatum Hills is located in Bywong, NSW, an easy 30 minute drive from the centre of Canberra.

Our farm is not a farmyard nursery, but a pet farm aiming to show adults and children how to interact respectfully with the animals. The focus is to learn about them and to understand their behaviour.

Tours are mostly aimed at children 2-12 years old and their families, but older children and adults love our tours too.

Your host

I live at Tatum Hills Farm with my partner and our two young daughters who love to help with the tours. I am a science communicator and mad nature lover.

I worked at CSIRO education for many years making science fun for both adults and children and I am now applying that experience to our farm tours. I greatly enjoy caring for our animals, observing them and getting to know them and I’d like to share my passion with a wider audience.

You can read more about our farm philosophy here.
I look forward to your visit!
Ilaria
